dos any1 know why there is new launcher for gunz

just wondering if any1 knows about this new launcher gunz has? if i delete it i cant get into a server,and it reinstalls when i relog in.
But i can enter the server then delete it and have no problems.
So what is it for are they trying to stop hackers or trying to detect 3rd party software..

any feed back would be good.

Why would you want to delete the Gunz Launcher in the first place? You need that to run Gunz.

maybe i said it wrong its not the reg launcher but int launcher and it running at the bottom of my toolbar and says beta downloading.
I thought its to detect 3rd party software.
And why would ijji just change this and nothing else.
Sorry if this is a stupid question i just dont want to get into trouble.
Have you seen this yet? if not can you check it out for me please?

The new launcher has been modifed to update before you can use the Start Game button.

With the older IJJI launcher, you were updated after you clicked Start Game.

I don't understand your actual question, but the launcher is the middle-man between being authenticated via the website and loading Gunz on the right account.

(ur talking about the orange thing right? it says detecting installed games and stuff)

u need that in order to play ANY ijji game, its like the installer/launcher to launch any of thier games, thats y when u deleted that u had to reinstall it. so in the distand future do not delete the launcher.

(Mind u if i got this all wrong then sorry about that, if i did get it right, im happy to help you:D)

Code:

C:\ijji\ENGLISH\u_gunz.exe

It comes with a ton of DLL files and 2 folders:

LOG
COMMON (contains IJJI logo)
