Problem Custom BGM Not Working In Ijji

Hello there,

Well I created a custom BGM.mrs, followed the steps:

1. Gathered Songs (9 In total) Including fin.OGG
2. Converted them all to .OGG
3. Put them in a folder "BGM"
4. Compiled it as bgm.mrs

I then replaced my current BGM.mrs file which I had in my Ijji Folder (Ijji's Default GunZ BGM.mrs)

Once I replaced it, I went ingame.. It did not work..

I then tested in on my GunZ Private Server (Not going to advertise) It worked, but was not working on Ijji GunZ. I have no clue why it wasen't.

I saw another BGM that someone here compiled, it worked perfecly fine on Ijji GunZ. I just have no clear understanding of why the BGM i compiled carefully following ALL steps wasen't working.

It would be nice for someone to at least explain to me or possibly help me out. Overall, thanks for your time, reading this.

I know what you did wrong, when you compiled it, you forgot to change the crc32 codes, here's a brute force to help you, if you don't have it already :



the CRC32 codes are as follows:

El-tracaz = 7653e22f
HardBgm3 Vanessa Retake(D) = 8aa8357f
Fin = 344a83ed
HardTech(D) = 24f99345
HardCore(D) = a62e1b51
HardBgm(D) = 45824224
Theme Rock(D) = c0f45510
Industrial technolism = cf12b930
Ryswick style = c04a7b6c
Intro Retake2(D-R) = 4c830534

Don't work on IJJI... that says all!

By what i know, and i'm just messing with GunZ engine for a year, Official GunZ servers block the CRC of your stuff, so custom BGM's will for sure not work.

However, i may be wrong, since Brazil GunZ's always a little later than IJJI...

wat are u talking about? lolz... these working for ijji, u have to brute the sucker though, to get the CRCs to match wat are in Filelist.xml
(For Some Reason, i have never needed to Brute, at all, on my custom hax, why the hell=D)

Im using a custom bgm right now, even tho i dont like it cuz i made it for a friend, I still have it.

So please, don't talk as if i've said is as a certain thing, i told i wasn't really sure...

But... i really want to learn that scheme...

BTW, i've checked it now, and i guess your problem is the same as mine, the COMPILER.

At least when i compile into MRS it'll change every CRC32...
