    GunZ crashes at end of loading screen.

    My problem starts with the moment i try and go into a room. My Gunz will load up as normal, without any failures. the loading screen will come on, then the server screen. I'll either make a room or join one and as soon as i actually enter the room by pressing "start game" or "ready" the loading bar goes to the end and stops. It doesn't actually enter the room, change or log out. It just crashes. The only thing i can do is use the quick launch for task manager using ctrl+alt+delete then closing Gunz. Also, if i want to play Gunz again, ill have to reinstall it every time.

    Please, if you have any thoughts or questions, post comments.

    Do you run gunz from reactor?
    There was an update today, so if you're using a auto launcher that doesn't update gunz files you need to run reactor;
    otherwise try uninstalling and reinstalling =/

    That happens to me too but do not uninstall the game though cause its a waste of time, you can fix it by
    1. Create a room yourself and start game with only you in it, when the loading bar is full and your not in the game reopen gunz again and do it again until you see yourself in the game. Once you see yourself in the game just join game rooms with people it should work 100% i did it and it works. It might fail like 1-3 times or so but in the end it should work.

    Many people have recently encountered this problem. It may be fixed by turning off your firewall or making an exception if you have a antivirus on. If you have AVG go to resident shield and go to path or file and make an exception to gunz and it will run smoothly without the freezing.
    +Rep if this helped

    It is indeed what AVG can do to GunZ, since I have experienced the same problem, But it is not necessarily Resident Shield, as much as the settings of it. Mine was set to "remove all threats automatically" and that prevented GunZ from connecting.
    Indeed, adding GunZ to your exception list might help, but it didn't for me. Unknown reasons.

    NOTE: It might be other AV software as well, no only AVG causes problems.
    +REP if you like my methods.
