editing zquestitem.xml

is there a way to edit the zquestitem.xml(from system.mrs) ?

it is not encrypted with the mef thing, i can easily edit thru notepad, etc - but i cant get any mrs compiler to compile system.mrs again without crashing gunz/not 'packing' the .mef files also

mrs.exe - doesnt add the .mef files to the new mrs file
mrsfileviewer - crashs while loading gunz

any ideas ? am i doing something wrong ?

my advise is to sit tight.

currently i do not know of a mrs unpacker/repacker that can cope with these mef exentions.

Decompile with MRS File Viewer and repack with the old mrs.exe.

All my system.mrs does it remove the abuse filter, but the whole MRS is loaded without problems.

hey x1, what do you mean the 'old' mrs.exe, because I'm not sure what one I have..

mine doesnt.

tried packing the mrs, did, the original file is around 131KB and the new one generated by mrs.exe is 54KB

after looking thru mrs file viewer, there were no .mef files at all.

maybe you could upload yours ? :)

I'm pretty he means that abuse.txt works kolt, thats wat x1 said was working. It's 54kb because its not including the .mef files.

well, he said that his old mrs.exe is including the .mef files, thats how he made his .mrs without abuse.xml.

i am trying to do the same, but instead of abuse, i am trying to edit zquestitem

Well my mrs.exe is including .mef..
1 question, are you editing an old zquestitem? If so how.
And if your not.. how are u editing it lol?
