MEF Decryption Ideas

If Gunz.exe has internal calls that decrypt MEF file to
use in game then the codes should be extracted and used
to make a decompiler that emulates these calls so the
MEF files gets unpacked easy

Ya, i was thinking about that too. Exactly as you said, they have to be sending something to decrypt it then run it. So if we come up with something to snatch that then we can use all the files to make a decrypter.

You guys think that people like x1 and Hackercoolio etc. haven't tried that yet?
We had a whole post with over 15 pages about MEF decryptor inside the Gunz.exe file.

I dont think there is a dycrpter, Maybe it just has its own language built in

i realy dought it has its own lagauge, mainly because if u actualy che k iwthin the exe, they literly describe wat mef is, meiat encrypted file system.

Or if you remove the .mef extension from the .xml and open it with notepad it says "Maiet Encrypted File System"
