| Registered User | Re: Coding dlls or bypasses I coded my DLL entirely in ASM. C++ is not the same as ASM. If you want to take the easy route, learn C++. If you want to become a better hacker, learn ASM first and then C++ later. The only way to understand how hacks are created in any game is to read ASM. I write all my hacks (for all games I hack) in MASM32 because I feel that there is no need to learn C++. I can do just about anything in ASM that a C++ coder can. I'm a University Student specializing in Accounting, I don't have the time to learn all the complexities of C++. ASM is simple and effective. Just knowing ASM has enabled me to understand other languages (C++, delphi, etc.) because when you disassemble any application, what you look at is ASM and if you understand the underlying op codes than you will have a better understanding of the fancy mambo jambo code that is found in the higher level languages.
