Yay let's talk about system.mrs. SOOOO I guess ijji got smart and pretty much .mef encrypted all their files or at least the nice ones. NOT only that but when you decompile system.mrs all the .mef files show up as 0 bytes; I'm guessing this is new because you can't even recompile properly. Just try to decompile and then recompile system.mrs without editing anything; there's like a 100kb lost; I'm thinking it's because of the 0 bytes in the .mef files.
List of the files in .mef encrypted:
-abuse.txt.mef (Used to be able to edit the language filter and say F#$k.)
-ChannelRule.xml.mef (Editing for map hacks)
-droptable.xml.mef (Editing for quest drops)
-gametypecfg.xml.mef (I think this was used for map hacks as well)
-LenzFlare.xml.mef (Obv to get rid of the sun)
-npc.xml.mef (Edit the spawn/damage/speed of quest monster)
-questmap.xml.mef (Edit what map you get dropped into/ prolly location of spawn too )
-scenario.xml.mef (Edit quest maps again; prolly what items where needed too)
-survialmap.xml.mef (Obv editing of survival mode)
-worlditem.xml.mef (Editing of meds/ammo/etc)
-zitem.xml.mef (Editing of weapons/swords i.e. delay/damage)
-zskill.xml.mef (Edits of quest boss)
-filelist.xml.mef (list of the CRC32 for all the files)
SO unless someone finds a way to crack the mef encryption, you cannot edit the files above. And simple things like just making a txt and renaming to .mef won't work; renaming to .xml.mef won't work. I've heard that some people have figured out the encryption but are keeping it private. The only thing that I know about which is publically released is x1nixmzeng's dumper. It allows you to view the mef files in txt; not sure if he had to crack the encryption to make this work though.

If someone can figure out a way to simply open the .mef with its encryption and just save it back with its actual size, you could make the above edits.

Did you ask his permission to release this? Because that was in lvl 2.

(I think these files WERE in the Level 2 a while when it first was open, because I have those files).
I read around some more and the 0 byte thing just might be a problem with the mrs decompiler. Does anyone have a better decompiler which actually shows the content of the mef files?
Rafay if someone had one they will not give it. It should be private , + it's kinda worthless alot of stuff in those shit were even patched before they encrypted the files.
