Question Activate .mrs -_-

I can't really activate my sfx.mrs cuz it keeps updating-.-

is there a way so you can start gunz without updating?

r u using a custom/modded sfx.mrs?
if so, then there's two things you can do.
1) Make sure ALL of the CRC's are the same. To find a CRC use BruteCRC32 or install HashTab.If they aren't the same as the original ones, use BruteCRC32 to change them.
2) If you tried method #1 or dont understand, this might work. You need something to stop Gunz/GG from updating your files. One, is a non-updating launcher(old-skool, idk if it still works).
Otherwise, try using a bypass to disable / trick GG and/or Gunz.

If the sfx.mrs does work properly, all you need is a way to trick Gunz into thinking it's the normal one. Using a CRC32 will change it's "identity"(CRC32 is the way Gunz checks for the right files). By using a bypass, it will tell Gunz it is the right one. So it won't let Gunz check, instead, just tell Gunz everything is right.

The old non-updating launcher does not work anymore, as does gunzlauncher.ini, they both dont work anymore.

Try using one of the launchers made by people, some of them are patched though, the most recent one I know of is 1nix's launcher and Im not sure if that works anymore.

It should work.
It has worked for me this patch. I don't really play ijji anymore so idk

But I don't understand what you mean, it's being updated so it won't work. Isn't is supposed to update, as all files should.

Actually, the first person who post was right, I once did the same thing as you. Ric you have to download HashTab. well I won't explain it, but i'll give a video, wich shows you how to do it.:

yes u can but if you have ijji gunz you need open new text and type in:
@skip_update
no_updates
but if u have darkgunz u need delete dg client.dll
and pase the sfx.mrs in your gunz folder(when u start the gunzlauncher it update your gunz,delete again your dg client.dll and pase again the sfx.mrs)

That method for IJJI doesnt work anymore due to them not using the old launcher and using reactor.
