My "Convenient" Quest mrs

Ok, after abusing phun/mario64's system.mrs, I decided to make my own.

I personally found it inconvenient that all items were edited, to the extent that I had to keep switching from the original system.mrs from the edited one. So I decided to make an system.mrs that you could use constantly.

-Only edited bounty/prem items are the rusty dagger, and the phantom slaying dagger. The delay is 100, so you can pretty much stab like a lawnmower. No armor or any other item for that matter have any special bonuses.

-Quest monsters move really fast towards you, have 1 hp, and can't attack. For some reason, in dungeon the mages tend to be stupid and get stuck alot or laugh and get in the way. Boss monsters are normal sized, as they are in the original system.mrs, but they move extremely slowly and also have 1 hp and can't attack. Since monsters cannot attack and have 1 hp, I thought that editing guns or armor would be pointless. I didn't really like how bosses in some system.mrs would shrink to the extent that I can't tell which is normal monster or boss, mainly with Aneramon. So with this system.mrs, you can freely kill the mini-Aneramons while it takes big Aneramon an hour just to get close to you.

-The cuss filter was untouched, I made sure that it would be quite hard to tell that you're hacking in this system.mrs.

The main point of this system.mrs was so that you can easily go back from a dm/tdm/etc to a quest without switching system.mrs or making it look like you hack.

Thanks goes to phun/mario64 for giving the basic idea of disabling monster attacks and making them move fast.

I use this now, along with the CRC32.dll, and the 3 megabyte Gunzlauncher found in phun/mario64's rar file. It should work with other Gunzlaunchers, but I know it works with that.

that is a smart idea, but after the first few spawns during the aneramon boss battle the mini-aneramons stop dropping mysterious skulls. same with the other monsters that spawn. :(

I should just change the delay of only rusty dagger to 100, since some people use the phantom slaying dagger.

Note that I have tried changing item drops several times, but it seems that it wont work. After trying and failing several times, I've concluded that you can't change drop rate, which item they drop, and other such things. If you can prove me wrong, let me know your methods, it would help me, as well as the rest of the system.mrs editors quite a bit.

Also, Kevin, it may APPEAR that monsters stop dropping boss items, but that is completely false. It is completely random, and you have to be lucky to get even one boss item. The drop rate for those "elite" monsters in boss games is only 10%, and seems even lower. One time I got one mysterious in the beginning and never again in that boss battle, another time I got 3 mysterious skulls after killing 160 monsters.

hey im editing my own system mrs atm and was wondering how do you set it so quest monsters dont attack you. ive managed to set all there hp to 1 and make them fast etc but i cant see what i have to change to make this possible.
