How to get started

If you are having trouble on how to get started, then your at the right thread. Follow these easy steps to get yourself started.

First go to your RPG Control Panel by clicking this [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].
That should take you to a page similiar to this:


You see where it says



That is where you want to put your Characters name. Make sure it is appropriate or you could end up being banned from the RPG.

Once you give your character a name, you can use an avatar for your Characters face, but that is opinional.

When you are happy with your character name, click 'Modify RPG Profile'

Next, you want to click the world map link as show in this pic:


This will then bring you to the world map.
On the right hand side of the map is a legend. Use that legend to help identify possible places to go.



When you first start, there are only two places that you can access. One is 'Fallow Grove' and the other 'Triple Triad Stadium'. The triple triad stadium can be accessed at anytime regardless of your level.

But lets focus on getting started. If you look in the middle of the map you will see this:

What you want to do is click the icon of a small village. That will bring up a small dialog box as shown here:

You want to click the link at the bottom of the dialog. That will take you to the starting town.

Once your in the starting town, I want to point out the right hand panel as shown here:

That is where you do a lot of your 'commands'. For example, if you want to talk to a NPC, you click their name and then click the 'Chat' link underneath that relevant box. Same applies with going to the NPC Shops, you click there name and then click the 'visit' link underneath that pertaining box. This panel is how you will navigate through most of the RPG. Keep in mind that you can goto the World Map and travel to previously visited areas. Take note that we did try to follow the terrain on the map. So if you are on an island, you obviously can't walk across the ocean to get to another town. But if there is a region in that area, you can use the world map to travel to your destination. Or make use of the panel in the box entitled "Available Places". Click the place that is available and then click 'visit'.
