Huxley:problem with finding friends

I've been usin Greasemonkey to log in without the beta tester thing so i decided to tell my brother to play.
once im done downloading and everything i wanted to meet up with me bro so we both went to the quest guy(person that gives you quests :D) and he wasnt there Oo im 900% certain that we are in the same server.

In Huxley are tehre different channels or something cuz i cant
see the ppl around him either and nor can he. If someone can help
me out i will highly apreciate it , ill rep you :D
