6.52 with Fai cheat pack!

right now... im doing that fake AMH maps but I have a little problem.. I dont know how to edit the preview of loading screen . Can you give me some site where I can learn to edit that loading screen preview? thx in advance!

Anyway were you planning to edit the loading screen and add the AMH details in it? Cos if it is, would you get sued by IceFrog for copyright stuff and editing the most popular Warcraft map?

well about editing the loading screen is too easy... my problem is... what tools should I use to edit mdx files that dont crash the map.

how do i exactly edit the version of the dota map so that it says 6.52b instead of 6.52. I don know anything abt editing but i am desperate for some advices on editing dota.pls giv some quick reply i nid it pls. Thank you for ur help

deprotect the map using xdep then... edit it on warcraft III word editor.

or you can extract the file with .wts extention on dota map then edit it and change the name of dota maps into 6.52b then edit the loading screen BR into 6.52b then put them back again into dota map.

and if you can edit the loadingscreen.mdx then edit the 6.52 into 6.52b ^^

hope you understand what im trying to say!

p.s. ::: be sure that you have a fake change log on your maps so that its not so obvious that your map was a fake

Thank you for help. I would like to ask u.Does ur 6.52 that u fitted it with Fai cheat pack had already been deprotected?or i shuld do it again.Another thing wat do u mean have a fake change log?What's the mean .wts?Sry for asking too much question.

I dont deprotect it... i just injected a cheat pack to it. Dont try to edit the cheated maps because the result is not good... sometimes the map is unstable... (laggyy) and most of the time it will crash..

Use MPQ recover to make a list then save the list on MPQ master (list folder) then open the dota map using MPQ master with the list you recover. then look for the files that you are looking.
