It has nth to do with comp specs. The AI engine in the recent releases seems taking a lot of system resources. I'm using Intel C2D E6600 2GB ram, suffer constant lag throughout the game.

my ai lags when i play it with windows media player, messenger, and limewire turned on

turn one of it off and all is ok
