Hello, Maplers!
MapleStory Client ver. 0.16 is now released!
We have gone through major changes in our game, and below is the overview of what's in store for you:
< Game >
- Level 80, 90, and even 100 items will now be available through the monster drops!
- The Guild System has been implemented. You can now form your own guild at Orbis Guild Park and register your guild emblem. Hunt and move together in a guild!
- The general game UI has been improved.
- A dynamic dressing room is now available in the Cash Shop. Try on items before you buy and see how they look while performing actions with your character.
- The quest system has gone through a complete overhaul. Finding and keeping track of the quest progress will become much easier with the improved quest information function.
- Visit the guide section of the website for more details.
- A change in pet command: loveyou -> iloveyou
< Event >
- The Lunar New Year Event will take place until February the 1st. Porridge, Red Envelopes, and Mr. Moneybags¡¦ check the event notice for more details.

- To celebrate the New Year, Lunar New Year Celebration Cash Items

Patching as i type this ;)

Red Envelopes are a mishap, i DOUBT anyone will get even close to 10,000,000. The Red Envelopes are just like the lottery, i predict the average amount of mesos won will be 150k, other then that, there going to be a bitch to find.

By the way i just played, (server check for 5 minutes) bowmen and Assasin now have pinkish red criticals, The new cursor and MANY NEW COOL ASS THINGS!! (ORBIS STORAGE!!, Lots of new quests!!)

i get an error when the patch thing comes up.. some version.info thing does not exist or something.. thanks god.. Is there any way I could download the patch manually

I got that error...i reinstalled the whole thing to be able to find it out....its the d3d8.dll file. You know the window mode dll? yeah.. well, take it out and it works....if not, re-install and dont use the dll

zz i wasted 5 hours on that....are there any new window modes for 0.16?

THANKS SPACHALA; that did the trick. It works fine and comes up on my work computer, but i need window mode for here, but at home i dont mind. It would be nice to have it tho; hope a new one comes out soon.
