Maple Help needed, Will Give 5000 NX Cash if Fixed!

Hi, i have been playing MS for 2 days now, and the server check/MS going down, i just cannot play, i open up Maplestory, gameguard loads, splash screen comes and goes, screen goes black as if the games loading, then it just reverts back to desktop, and open applications get closed, (firefox, msn, etc)

I have seen people with this problem before, but never a straight answer.

I have tried:
deleting GG folder
editing lost files
uninstalling/reinstalling
running as administrator

but still no luck, and i cant find anywhere what to do, if someone can help me, i will give them 5000 NX Cash to spend in the cash store.

Any help is appreciated, i will be giving many thanks in this topic, so please help! Thanks!

Here are my Specs, note, i was playing the game fine yesterday and day before.

Ok hmm try this

Go to host file its located in

Local Disk>Windows>System 32> Drivers>Ect

i think. try it

ull see Host.

click it from read only.

then open it. use notepad

scrll down and delete everything that says GameGuard After it.

Now delete GG folder from wizet folder.

and Change host back to read only and you should be good to go :p

Thanks for trying, but i have tried editing the host files and deleting GG folder, still no luck, i have changed ym refresh rate + screen resolution also, still no luck.

yea man i have the same problem cept i haven't even played it in so long last time i played was on my other computer and i just installed it yestarday iv been trying to play the only difference is that mine freezes and i have to restart computer

Try "System Restore" to a previous state, obviously the time Maple Story was working for you. It fixed the autopatch problem for me, maybe it would fix yours.

accualy i turned my computer into a osx and got tired of it, turned it back and it started working again but i had an old file forgot everything including the email i used for it and im having troubles thinking of usernames now :\

Im just taking a wild guess here but try double clicking on ur MSsetup and it will ask u if u want to uninstall ms or repair Ms and 1 other thing cant remember wht it was but anyways try repairing it that might work. Just a thought.

Hey,

this might sound dump but somehow I got it to work with my crappy computer.

Since I have 2 computers, one working just fine and one can't even load MS, patched, whatsoever.

What I did was that, since I have a network at home, I copy the whole MapleStory folder in Program files. then copy and paste into the other bullshit Computer. and it works. So, if you happen to have a close friend that has MS working, you might just want to burn it out I think it's around 500 MB or something (or use a FlashDrive) then copy paste to replace the current one you have.

Here's the best solution hat no one has come up with.
Try downloading MapleStory again. Simple and clean.
Just like 10 minutes of wait and boom, it works again.
