Running MapleStory on Windows Vista: MapleStory does work on Windows Vista. One suggestion to have MapleStory compatible with Windows Vista is setting the compatibility of the program. Right-click your shortcut to MapleStory or the exe file, select Properties, and click on the Compatibility tab. Once you have selected the tab, check the box Run this program in compatibility mode for: and select Windows XP in the drop-down menu. We also suggest that you restart your computer after applying the changes. MapleStory should work once these changes are applied.

Maple story on Vista should run fine without having to change any settings at all but if you do run into any problems just change the settings like they recomend you do and see if it works. If it does problem solved and start playing
Maplestory and Vista don't work together... all of the time. Personally, it works for me with some minor errors every once in a while. Besides that, it works. But yeah... it is, as usual with most microsoft crap, a mistery as to why it works with some comps and with some other not.
