Okay, someone said to me 120 / 168 = .71, meaning I need 71%/hour to be able to complete 1-120 in one week, and I immediately said to myself that one week is impossible because I can't get 71%/hour, but what she forgot to factor in is that I can do the first 57 levels in one day.
If I can do that, which I can, I am left with 63 levels in 144 hours. (6 days).
63 / 144 = .41, meaning I'd need 41%/hour to hit level 120 in the one week, and that means 1 - 120 in one week IS possible, and it IS MY GOAL AGAIN.
My goal is level 1 - 120 in ONE week or faster, two weeks if I don't make the one week, (Which is still gonna satisfy me. :3)
MY GOAL IS NOW SET BACK TO GETTING AN ASSASSIN FROM LEVEL 1 - 120 IN ONE WEEK. (Two weeks maximum.)

The Project:
For a while now, i've been curious as to what i'm going to do after level 200, and i've come to the conclusion that I want to challenge myself, and get an assasin from 1-120 in two weeks. Challenges make me feel awesome when I complete them, and maybe, it'll show that if you really want to, it's not that hard to level in Maplestory.
Foreword:
- I am 100% serious about this 'project'.
- I understand how hard this will be, but I believe it's possible.
- The point of this thread is to accept tips, ideas, and suggestions as a whole from the community.
- Hours of planning have already gone into this project, and I expect there to be a lot more.
- Admittedly, this project is a long way away, however alot more planning needs to go into this, so I'm starting early.
Facts:
- I have Insomnia, and am more than capable of staying up 7 days at a time, sleeping on the 8th day, and then going back to training.
- There are two computers in my room, and so one will be used for mules, and the other for training the character.
- I plan on training the entire time I am awake, only stopping for toilet breaks, and a 10 minute food break once every two days. (I'm used to going prolonged times without food.
- School or work is not a problem, I am able to be at home the entire week without any problem.
The plan:
How this is all actually going to run, isn't 100% worked out yet, however, here's the basics so far:
- The assasin will be a dexless assasin. (Only becuase they train faster, according to everyone who's pointed that out.)
- All of his equips, potions, stars, and anything else needed will be bought before training him.
- Everything needed will be stored on aproxximately 50 different mules. Yes, 50.
- This project is going to cost approximately 4,500,000,000 (4.5BILLION) mesos, which should cover the cost of all of the characters equips, potions, stars and 24/7 onyx apples.
- I will earn enough real money to afford enough NX to be able to max out the assasins inventory slots, always have safety charms, and 24/7 2x EXP.
- Training for the entire time won't be a problem, as I don't have anything else to do anyway and i'm quite capable of doing it. x3.
- Plenty of high-leveled friends and guildmates have already offered to help me train at himes with them, and other high-level training places, so finding a good party at higher levels shouldn't be a problem.
- I have a friend who has offered to come over to my house for an hour every night, and watch me train, while writing an online-blog about everything I do each day.
- I know for a fact that I can deffinately get from level 1 - 5X within the first 24 hours, hopefully around level 57 within the first day.
- When I need more pots, and what not, I can easily access them from mules on the second computer in my room.
- I will create my skill build, and where I'm going to train, already planned out.
There are thousands more things I can list, which i've thoroughly thought through, but the things already there currently are the basics.
I will be updating this thread constantly with any new information I have and such. I do expect this project to be a very, very long way away, but I expect to be playing Maplestory for a few more years yet, so I'm planning now, and getting ready.
Conclusion:
Basically, this is just getting the idea out there, and seeing if anyone can give any tips or what-not.

The food is not a problem, I already only eat one meal per day, one meal every 2 days isn't going to harm me. Maybe if I continued eating like that for a month, but a week? No harm.
This thread is also no a joke.
It is INDEED possible to stay awake for months at a time, admittedly brain damage is usually caused, but not caused at 1 week. I personally know people with Chronic Insomnia who'm are awake for weeks at a time, and on girl who's body began to shut down after 2 months. I know the risks of staying awake for one week at a time, I have to LIVE with it. It's somewhat sad that people try to tell me information about something i've had for 3 years of my life, when they don't even know what they're talking about.

I know these people from various insomnia councelling groups, it IS possible, i'm lucky that I only stay awake for upto 14 days, which is the longest i've gone without sleep.

Probably, never log on again, or give it away to someone, I mean, I enjoy my ranger, and only play one character, which is my ranger, I jsut want this to be a challenege, and once the challenge is over, what else is there?
How do you plan on getting 50 mules?
Just making them one by one, account after account, i'll keep a record of all the accounts names, passwords and PIN's.
What server will you be doing this on?

I will most likely start the project immediality after a server check, and hope that there are none during the project, and if there are, I will pause the stop-watch I'm using and remove the Server Check time from the total time it took me.

- I won't have any buddies, or be in a guild, and I won't have any human contact apart from my friend coming over for an hour per night.

Well, lets talk about fact, alot of people are saying it's not possible, lets work out the facts.
I can do 1 - 57 in one day, deffinately. Exchange quest the first levels, then immediatly begin onyx appling and training. With Onyx Apples, at level 18-ish, i'll already be training at Green Mushrooms when others are training at slimes... I approximate it to take me 7 hours MAXIMUM to get to level 30. I then assume it will take me another 8 or so hours to get to 50. That's 15 hours, leaving me with 9 hours to get to 57, within the first day...
Remember, onyx apples allow me to 1HKO much monsters at places I shouldn't be training at yet, which in return is ALOT faster EXP, PLUS 2x EXP...
I mean, lets have a look at level 119.
My friend is a level 120 priest, he gets 22% an hour WITHOUT double EXP, using a 120 M.Att pot. I will be killng himes ALOT faster than him, and I assume i'd be getting around 30% an hour with an onyx apple, and with Double EXP, that's 60%/hour, at level 120.
Onyx apples and 2x EXP allow me to get GODLY exp at any level, with that information, it doesn't seem too hard to achieve.
Of course a map won't ALWAYS be available, but if I have to, i'll pay my friend to keep CC'ing looking for channels where I want to train until he finds a map, while I go train at an alternative training place.
Can he do it? It might be possible, but Straight for 7 days? The boredom? Your hands getting tired?

No, its impossible unless you can somehow stay awake on caffiene pills. Its going to be REALLY hard on the health though.

He doesn't need caffeine pills; he has insomnia. He is also going to get the 2x exp for 24 hours a day. The only part that concerns me is that he will be in front of a monitor, sitting on a chair for a week straight.
He seems to have it planned out really well, but I don't exactly think he'll quite make it to 120. He'll probably get close but not in 7 days.. although i'd love to see how this turns out!

What about the fact, that people like me like to break fragil hearts like yours...=) meaning that, people who read this, or are just like me, will try and ruin your dream of 1~120 in 7 days.. didnt think about that eh?
