MapleStory Employing Bot GMs Like GM Ceris?

It used to be that getting yourself banned was not easy unless you hacked in broad daylight. The opposite is now the case with Nexon's new method of banning. The word on the street is that Nexon has automatic ban software installed on the server. The software supposedly goes by the name "GM Ceris". As should be expected, automated banning is bound to cause some problems and false bans will always come up. I was the latest victim of this "GM Ceris."

I received a one-day ban on MapleStory for … not hacking. Yeah, I know what you're all thinking already: "If you're not a noob hacker why are you on GamerzPlanet? You deserve that one-day ban and even a permanent ban!" Well, I'm new to this automatic ban thing, and I hope with time evidence will crop up proving once and for all that the thousands of bans that Nexon had performed automatically were wrongful; but that's just wishful thinking.

I made a thread on their forums about this "GM Ceris": [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] Apparently, there are other people who want to speak up about it.

By the way, my account was only created 3 days ago and my highest level character just turned 20, so I'm not losing out on much anyway if I ever get banned permanently for speaking out on their forums.

=.= tellme about it, i got banned today for simply DCing and is banned for 6months. wow nexon is motha %R*$(&%$*(&%*(@#&$*(#&$*(&. (pissed -.-)

They are testing a BOT system with about 7 GM bots, and they won't agree with you even if you have 100% evidence that all the bans were corrupt. The one day bans was set the highest for #1 banning reasons, so a ton of users don't get month-bans and such. If you log a ticket about this you are just blocked frmo ever making tickets again. In the tespia server they are also testing it out there to.

That would be stupid ... I mean Bots/Robots could get confused or whatever meaning anything that seems like would be hacking or any enhanced play would get you banned. If they impliment this, Maple Story will be in chaos. Ban hammer everywhere. Nubs fleeing from the horrid Bot GMs. I would LOL if it turned out to be a Maple Story Players VS GM Bots in a PVP or something LOL!

I cant beleive that Nexon is so lazy,people spend hundrends of dollars on NX and they are so lazy to atleast be 1 - 3 hours online to ban some hackers.

I wonder if they are paied to do nothing and sit all day long.

I've figured out where the 1-day bans originate. GM Ceris could be a bot or a human. It doesn't matter, but the fact is, these bans arise whenever the game client gets disconnected or lagged.
