this should work. if it doesnt, then ur comp is ****ed.

this is in no way any kind of computer or programming language. if it is THAT illegible, then it must be a packet error(could be a download error, but reinstalling would fix it), especially if it is consitent. turn off your virus scanners and ALL FIREWALLS before trying maplestory.

if that doesnt work, then use the good ol' EPIC EMERGENCY HD RESET(aka system restore, lul.). it takes back all settings to a specific point, take it back to when maple worked. if u dont know what im talking about, then: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

I would really go against the idea of system restore. It not only deletes all the .exe and some other files you've created(installed programs/games/applications/whatnot), and it is really a hassle.

im just going to assume, he didnt create any unreasonably important files in the past week or so.

if u did download anything special, suck it up and download it again, ROFL

Heres how I fixed:

Step 1: Uninstall maple
Step 2: Delete maplestory/nexon folder, if its in the normal place go to my comp then local disk and delete nexon folder.
Step 3: Go to Regedit; press start>run>regedit; delete any traces of maple story; most traces will be in hkey_local_machine>software
Step 4: Install MS
Step 5: Enjoy
Step 6: Rep me
