When I try to log on, the screen just freezes. For username, I can type up to 4 letters and then it starts to freeze and when it begins to settle down, it doesn't show the letter that I tried to type. I need help! Thanks!

Try copy and pasting the username and password or re-install your keyboard.

I tried copy and pasting the username and password. It only allows me to copy and paste one of them and when I try to copy and paste the other one, it freezes. I also checked my keyboard. It's perfectly fine. Still need help....

Let it settle a bit. Sometimes if I rush it, a few letters would pop up but the others dont until about 15 seconds later. Scan your computer for viruses, usless trojans that load at start up ect.

When it freezes, I usually wait and it takes about a minute, but after that the letter that I typed doesn't show and sometimes it erases the previous letters.

I just did a scan and it said it was free of viruses and all the rest.

I had this problem.

Are you using a G15 keyboard on Windows XP Professional?

Maple did this to me ONLY when i had my G15 keyboard plugged in. Sometimes it would only disable SOME keys, such as enter, or space bar, or the entire qwerty section.

After about 1-3 minutes everything would return back to normal.

Tried the keyboard on other computers, it worked fine. Also tried other keyboards on the computer that this was happening to, also worked fine.

Still to this day haven't figured it out, but I believe it's GameGuard's Kernal messing with the keyboard drivers.

some computers just SUCK my comp laggs at teh start and somtimes if i ran alot of programs before opening maple right when i type i get restarted....then it works fine...but try waiting like 30 seconds after the login screen pops up and then move your mouse over the log in button but dont click this will make you lag but it will stop in like 15 sec or less....after that type in your stuff and tell me if it works

I tried all of the above, but it didn't work. I mean it use to work before, but all of a sudden it didn't work. It seemed to not work after my dad set up a password for the account. Dunno if that helps with anything. I can still hack on and get admin privileges.
