Question Item Guard: Do you use it?

I'm curious; does anyone here use item guard, given all the account hacking that has been taking place?

The Item Guard cash shop item that came out a while ago has the ability to protect your items including throwing stars, armors, and weapons. It comes in 2 main flavors: permanent and time-limited (up to 90 days of protection). Protected items cannot be dropped, traded, stored, or sold, making it impossible for you to lose the item. This is good for, say, giving your account to someone else to do a Zakum boss run for you (which is still not recommended in my opinion).

The only way to remove the item's guarded status is to submit a ticket to Nexon, which could take any number of days.

Re: Item Guard: Do you use it?

I.G. is useless. If you don't want to lose your item in the first place, don't drop it, don't trade it, don't move it. And it'll stay there. This is just another way of giving Nexon more money to do YOUR job. But then again, America is filled will lazy people. So why does it matter.

Bottom Line -- Item Guard = Waste Of Money / Useless 100%.

Be smart. That's all that there is to it.

Re: Item Guard: Do you use it?

No david, i think you misunderstood his point he means that item is unhackable so the Hacker cant drop or trade the item in your account, its a perfect item, the only reason it cost nx is because they are too lazy to read the tickets
