Also try downloading the zipped parts separately and trying that route. If you are having the problem after you formatted, and in safe mode, this is more than just software conflict.

yes i did it b4... the second download of maple setup is done using flashget in different location... and.. i guess a complete full setup doesn't require an internet connection until the game is launched?

what i wonder is that why i have absolutely no problem with the setup last time as well as playing the game? sigh.. no idea
