pros and cons for sin and banit help

well got a lvl 50 warrior 44 cleric and i couldnt decide between sin and bandit.. would u mind helping me which one is better?

It all depends on what you like....
If you like attacking from afar, or attacking up close.

Mm... Sins are generally quite expensive since their equipment and stars are beginning to inflate again, due to Free Market....

In the long run, sins are stronger, since they take advantage of being fast and having range...

Bandits are just a faster version of a warrior, at during the 4x-5x they will be stronger then sins..(my bandit was able to do....2.5k average during the 40's)

Bandit weapons and scrolls are also rising too come to think of it...

Damage Calculations for a Bandit at level 50: 171 luk and 106 dex with max mastery and savage blows does damage from: 1483.2 - 2433.6 (with a high power Sai and extra luck)... at 50 Sins do (same stats, High Power Slain and icicles) 438-1173----Critical 50% time---876-2346... So you might think, Why be a sin? (a reasonable question), well for one thing there is much more things to buff your attack (better stars for example). Range is a big deal, and you level faster (stronger quicker). While the damage seems comparable there is a major point to look at: Defense is a big factor against a bandit... like wise warrior pots will buff savage blows more than lucky 7. So, it is all how you look at it (if you want to get third job into the debate then shadow partner makes sins on top of the damage scale without a doubt assumeing equal money, lets not get into debates about meso explosion; if you don't have a ton of money sins will out damage, enough said).

Your taking a view from a str bandit with a normal assassin ^_^

Luk bandits that I've seen so far have been able to outdamage sins, but are easily ks'd by sins and archers(sometimes by warriors) due to..well, range.

my lvl 53 sin can out dmf dits around my lvl..
with 8 atk wg and an ilbi..

since sin uses lucky7 till drain its bit boring but if u have the mesos go for a sin

There are two types of ban(dits).

STR Dit = higher low end att range
LUK Dit = higher high end att range

Dits are the more mobile version of a warr, and also tend to do more stable dmg than a warr.

Sins? They RELY on crit dmg with their claws. Yes, while this crit % is 50%, they still RELY on it to do the dmg they need to. Where as dits, dont rely on crit at all. Sins are ranged, and dits are up close and personal.

Sins are expensive in the fact that they pay hand and foot for a set of stars. Whereas dits you have to pay hand and foot for dag scrolls.

Sins, dont use a new att skill than lucky7, untill 3rd job. At which point, they gain avenger, but still use lucky7 more than anything.
*yes, they have drain, but it sucks as dmg*

Dits use savage blow for a while, then switch to assaulter. They also gain Meso Explosion, and Band of Theives.

I agree with most of you people are saying, but one thing to remember is, that since the claws' attacks are low, you need good stars to compare to another character. My sins' Meba and Kumbis are the same attack as a Stinger, but sins are generally more fun and level faster.
