I've been thinking but i still dont get it.Why do most people prefer snipers to rangers?? Is it all because of their Ice shot?? Why 3 seconds of freeze and 140% damage? Why not 150% attack power?? Besides, rangers have a faster attack speed compared to snipers, although it is not significant, but i remember reading somewhere in the forum that during time taken for a sniper to do 10 strafes, a ranger can do 11. Okay.. perhaps the freeze can reduce amount of damage taken. Well so? Its not like when you are killing high level mobs there isnt pot consumption? There is usually a priest available if you're training at sotong. So why snipers?? Mind giving me ur opinion?

If you notice the snipers strafe compared to rangers are ALOT stronger and the speed simply won't cut it filling the gap... Then you got the freeze > Fire

Snipers have slightly better range in them than Rangers. Their strafe is slower somehow, but much stronger and stable in damage, so it dominates whatever Rangers shoot. Their ice shot is just for looks and freeze, but it's still better than Ranger's Inferno cuz inferno doesn't do anything. And movement speed and mobility is same in high levels, because of sniper's and ranger's equips. But if you really don't understand why snipers are so different, just go as rangers. I made a sniper for cheaper weapons and scrolls, and range that saves me money somehow.^^ Your choice

In the end it's want the player likes.
Ice, fire, speed, looks, ect
if it bother you that there is more sniper and ranger
then stand tall and be proud that your a ranger and not
just another sniper that freeze thing but insted burn
it to bad there isnt a burn effect. T_T
