Program not shown in process list

Well, I was gonna start trying to hack maplestory with cheatengine, but then I noticed that maplestory isn't under my process list. I checked my task manager and its under applications but I don't see anything under process. Does anyone have any idea why? Thanks.

And yes, maplestory is open.
Heres the one in safemode. Should I also keep the one in regular just to see? Whatever, just help pelase ^^ Thanks.

It is because the maplestory.exe process is hidden by GameGuard, therefore you need to tick some settings and then target maplestory.exe before it hides himself or use the window lists.

you wont see maplestory on the process list, its hidden by ngaurd, however if you start up process watch you WILL see it in there, and when you do just click on the open button and it will do the same thing as if you were to open the process through the process list.

ok, since this is a cheatengine prob post, heres a quicky question....and this is gonna sound uber stupid

how the hell do you minimize maple so you can acces ce???
every freakin time i press alt+tab my compy shuts down, and i was sure that was the shortcut....

Cheat Engine has a feature that monitors all new processes. Turn this on by going to process list (the computer in the top left) then click process watch. A little box should pop up that has 2 buttons on it. Open up MapleStory and wait till it gets to the login screen. Now alt tab back out to CE, now see the Maple Story.exe(9)? (it should be something like that maybe minus the number or a diff number) thats your process. Select it and click either open process or attach process I dont remember which. Someone help him/her out with that please. Once your there, enjoy and hack away.

If it restarts when you go to CE you dont have an undetected version of CE (you have to create your own or try and find one). To make one you can find many tutorials on CheatEngine website. Its not hard but it takes about an hour to 2 hours to do (took me an hour and a half).

If it restarts when you press alt tab then its computer issues. Maybe try control alt delete out? (dont press it twice in a row fast or youll restart your comp>.<)
