Well, heres a few ideas to find out if a program is a keylogger or not, if you guys just scan and "trust".

Open up the app in a debugging application, and see if this app has imported functions from ws2_32.dll. If it's not linked with this dll\or the lib, then it's not going to send any outgoing information.

Also, look for the use of functions like: SetWindowsHookEx.
