Man im getting tired of saying this in various forums for various games that i play and end up botting / cheating in.....
Ok maple story people: your virus scanners and what not are actually incredibly stupid. all they know how to do is scan for specific signatures of known virus's. when people add keyloggers etc inside an existing program it isnt the same as scanning the actual virus by itself. and given that atleast some if not most malicious hackers write their own keyloggers (it isnt hard) those signatures will be unknown to norton, avira, and anything else.
To make a long story short when you "scan a program for keyloggers" it is totally inaccurate. often when it says it found something it really found nothing and 95% of the time that there is a keylogger it will say the file is clean. Trust nothing and know that when you use these programs its impossible to be safe. its really just a matter of weather or not you give a shit about losing your items/account.
