[TUT] How to play MS without country restriction

(I will start posting random working proxy on this thread, so come here to check it out time to time)

How to Bypass country IP Restriction (PIC TUT =D)


Stuff needed:

• A Brain that can read and control your fingers,,
• eBorder 5.12 ( I have it on the download down there), (Hopefully you have winzip, or winrar to extract) You if don’t Download link: http://www.download.com/WinRAR/3000-2250_4-10690736.html?tag=lst-0-1
• The downloaded version of the MS you wish to play,
• A SOCKS 5 proxy (Prefer one with username and pass, Ill explain later) Hardest one to find.

How to install eBorder 5.12 ( Picture tut YEA!! ^^)

After downloading and installing Winrar

Extract eBorder 5.12 (Click Wizard)






Click the folder eBorder, and click until you see eBorder351, Click inside and click the Installer.

Click next, I agree, blah blah blah

When You see the part of the installation named User Information

Insert : DW2N-9K99-M3KC-VP84-79SF for the License (Ignore the company name)







and Just spazz next until it installs and this pops up




Tick “I want to set up the Driver”

Next, Tick I have one server

Ok this is the part where it asks you to insert a proxy. Currently ignore this part Unless you have a Socks 5 proxy. Just insert random numbers in both the boxes and click next.





Next, tick proxy all

And finish.

Launch eBorder,

For those who don't know where eBorder is.
Go to Start>All Programs> e-Border driver> Eborder

It should look like this



Now go to the proxy tab , You should see your proxy address and port.(Aha Remember this from earlier?)

Now go to : [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] (ipfree.cn/en/ 's Proxy dies every day or so, but it updates itself every hour to ensure you new proxy.)

(This is the web I use, If the proxy your looking for is not on there, Then search up SOCKS 5 proxy on google)


Find proxy that is from the Version of MS you want to play in.
IE: I want to play GMS, Find U.S proxy, I want to play CMS, Find China proxy.
Now for example, The proxies on this website has Username and password.

The following picture is from ipfree.cn/en/


So now what you do is, Insert the “Proxy Ip” and “port” On to the Proxy Tab inside eborder.(The one from previous with your random numbers in it)

Now this next step is to save the “Username” and “Password” of the proxy , So when it connects you don’t have to type it again. (The following step can be skipped if your proxy does not have username and password)

Now go to the tab , general , and click Advance





Go to Credential

Under Methods change it to Username and Password authentication
Click the button that has a + sign on it.





Type in the username,password, server name(The “IP address”)

After you done that Click Ok.
Make sure Enable proxy is ticked

and Launch the game.

Problem and solution.

Q: Waa When I launch the game , the normal “Maplestory can not connect, Server check , blah blah blah” pops out, Whats wrong?

A: There’s many reason why this is happening,
1.you did something wrong during installation.
2.You didn’t Tick Enable proxy
3.Your proxy is dead (Meaning get a new one)

Q: When I launch the game or the internet a screen pops up and Asks me for the username and password of the proxy server, And it keeps popping up.



A: When this happens , it means that your proxy is dead, (they changed the username and pass)
1.Go to e-border, Untick Enable proxy.
2.Close the internet, or game. and restart it.
3.The username and password Authentication shouldn’t pop up any more.
4.Next time you want to play , Find a new proxy.

Q: Whats a proxy?

A: A proxy server is basically a computer network service that allows clients to make indirect network connections to other network services. Which means that if your proxy is located in the United States and even though your in some other country, the online system recognizes you as the Internet is in the U.S (or where ever the proxy is)

A: For those questions, I wouldn’t even respond. (Btw if you don’t get anything up there, then research about them before asking.)

Q: How do I get a new proxy?

A: Just go to the links I gave you for proxy and repeat the steps from "Inserting proxy in the proxy Tab" till the end.

All these things are pretty basic, If you don’t get it, then you don’t deserve to play.

This is a SOCKS 5 proxy, GG isn't capable of blocking this yet.

It works I assure you, If it doesn't you just found a bad proxy.

When I press OK, and the thing disappears, I open it again and it reverts to LDAP authentication...is it supposed to do that?
Anyone have a china proxy that works?
Last question - If I wanna play CMS, I can only use China's ______ right? Or can I use korea

Dissappear is ok..Just leave it there.(what it does it just save the password and username so that you can access the server)

and Yes, China= China's proxy,

Let me explain " a proxy server" Makes Nexon think that your in the country (Whatever country the proxy server is) So..if You're in U.S and you're using a Korean proxy, The internet would think your in Korea..
