I have posted this thread in the hope that people looking for answers will find them here, instead of posting the countless threads on every page. I see many threads talking about things that have been discussed before, and these are usually received with heavy flaming. I aim to reduce this flaming bonanza by instructing those who are too damn lazy to search for themselves.

Note to newbies: Do NOT immediately post new threads about your problem if you have one. Search your topic thoroughly, and if you are convinced that no one else has experienced your problem, and there are no current discussions about it- THEN post a thread.

If you have a question, search for it. You’re not the only person in GP, and there is a likely chance someone has asked your question before.

We accept that you perhaps aren’t the strongest at English- due to certain circumstances, but please, just overlook your post to see that it makes sense.

Begging is also warning-worthy, and it is against the rules. Spoon-feeding (giving the answers straight to the newbies) is not recommended as such, as it teaches them that posting pathetic threads will get them answers- which is wrong. I couldn’t help posting this tutorial.

I’ve come back for a week now, and here I am, writing a tutorial. I last hacked when Maple was on the patch v.3x, and since I’m on holidays, I needed something to do. I’m not smart, and I’m not patient, but even I can gather information and turn it into common sense. There seems to be a lot of people coming back to the scene like me, so here’s my message to you:

Just because you have come back, it doesn’t give you the right to post meaningless threads asking what you have done. Not everyone is ecstatic and going ballistic about your ‘heroic’ return, so there’s no point in posting a thread about it.

I’m also sorry if some of the stuff I post here is echoing what others have said- this is 100% by me, and wanted to share some Cwisfa lovin’. Also, I’m sorry if it’s incorrect information, I’ve only been here for a while and have been out of it for about a year or so.

NOTE: I don’t expect any questions. If you don’t get something, search it up. I’ve explained this in detail so you should be able to get it. Please don’t reply with a post that doesn’t meet the criteria above (illiteracy, incorrect grammar etc.).

Alrightey then! Enough of my bitching- let’s get down to the trouble-shooting.

First get a hackpack, V.48 (yes it is still working) I'm not going to bother posting a link you can find that hackpack in any forum.

The Basics
This section will teach you how to activate basic hacks.

For this example, we’ll be using Tubi. Scroll down if you have it in a CT.

When you’re attached to Maple etc. click the button that says: Memory View. Then, press CTRL+G, and this will ask you which address you want to go to. Tubi has these specifics:

SUPER TUBI ZF [X] [X] 004A2522

Type in 004A2522; that’s the address of Tubi. Then, right click on the address, and select ‘Change register at this location’, and because it says ZF [X] [X], you will tick both boxes next to ZF.

Similarly, if you’re using unrandomiser:

UNRANDOMIZER STATS EAX [0-STR. 1-DEX. 2-INT. 3-LUK] 0074430D

Again, press CTRL+G and go to 0074430D. Right click on it and select ‘Change register at this location’, and because it says EAX, we’re going to change the value of EAX to either 0, 1, 2 or 3. 0-STR means that if you set the EAX to 0, you’re going to get 13, 4, 4 and 4 as your next dice roll- with STR set to 13.

If you have a CT, look here:
CT’s are designed to make your life easier. Instead of navigating to the address everytime, the makers of the CT have put it in a table there for you. So, instead of navigating to 0074430D to use Un-randomiser, you right-click on something like this:

… and change the EAX to either 0, 1, 2 or 3.

Easy?

However, to use more advanced hacks, it’s a bit more complicated:

First, activate the DupeX script by ticking the first box; DupeX Script (tick). Then, jump around a bit and wait for the second box’s address to change.

It says EIP Value there, but that didn’t work for me- and using the address is the solution for getting Damage Control and No Knockback to work.

When the ADDRESS has changed, write it down- and the next ADDRESS; ‘Change registers, change EIP here’, right-click on it and choose ‘Change Register at this location’. Type the changed ADDRESS (Not value, changing value when you touch the monster will make MS crash) in the EIP box, jump around a bit and then tick the next line- ‘DupeX pointer, click to activate Dupex’.

That wasn’t so hard, was it?

Gosh, I’ve lost count of how many threads there are asking what hacks do- and that’s why I decided to put in this section.

God-mode
Godmode is quite self-explanatory. When you activate 1-Hit Godmode, you receive one hit on the map you are in, and from then on- do not receive any damage from the monsters in that map. You navigate to the address in Memory View, and tick the first ZF box to activate it. Yipang included it in his CT because it auto-ban’s some and leaves others alone- it auto-banned me

Status: Not Working. Auto-ban for most.

Tubi/Super-Tubi
Tubi is quite a weird name- and I don’t know why it’s called Tubi. My only guess is that it’s the name of the guy who found it. Tubi is mainly used when you bot, as it eliminates the delay when you pick up items. This allows you to pick up 4-5 items at a time, and is useful for when you are botting because most of the drops land at the same place. Tubi requires you to navigate to the address and tick both ZF boxes. To my knowledge, it doesn’t incur an auto-ban.

Status: Working

Curse
Curse is quite self explanatory, like Godmode. What this does is removes the censorship of your speech. Put simply, it allows you to say naughty words. The same as God-mode, navigate to the address and tick the first ZF box.

Status: Working

Unlimited Attack
When Wizet found out that we were botting overnight, they got to work thinking about how they could stop us and detect us. They figured that it would be a great idea to take advantage of the fact that we stay in one spot when we’re botting and vaccing monsters. Not many legitimate players stay in one spot when training, so they thought to themselves- when players reach 100 attacks in one spot, they’ll stop attacking- but for magician’s, they’ll attack and do no damage whatsoever.

… and so that’s what Unlimited Attack is. If you reach 100 attacks in one spot, you’ll stop attacking (or if you’re a mage, you’ll attack and waste MP, however do no damage). However, it’s a script right now that nullifies that effect- however, there are a few problems in the script that need working out. You just need to tick the box next to the address in the CT, and that will activate the script. Alternatively, copy and paste the script into the Auto-Assembler and send it to the Cheat Table, and then tick it. I hope you see now that it’s much more worthwhile to use a CT.

Status: Working, but with only one source of confirmation

No Breath
Nobody likes being caught, and no one likes that annoying message-

‘You can’t do that right now. Wait a little while, then try again’.

It is especially annoying when you’re vaccing, and a legitimate comes in. You don’t want to wait a few seconds to regain your breath and THEN change channels. No Breath nullifies this effect and eliminates the posture where you look like you’re going to attack. This is recommended. To use No Breath, simply freeze the value at zero.

Status: Working

Damage Control
Since God-mode has been patched since about v.43, Damage Control is the new craze. What it does, is make all damage equal 0 (miss), 1, 2 or 3. This is usually combined with No Knockback. To use it, you need to use the same process as you did for DupeX before in this guide.

Contrary to wcbrilman's guide, it has been confirmed that it is actually the

address, and not the value that you need to copy into the EIP box.

Status: Working

No Knockback
When you hit a monster, you usually spring back from the damage. This nullifies this effect. This is activated by using a Damage Control script. The two are usually paired together to create the same effect (or close to it) as God-mode did.

Status: Working

NOTE: Damage Control and No Knockback at first disconnected me- but when I tried it again using the address and not the value it worked fine.

20/12/07 - DMGCtrl + No KB is working fine.

Lag Hack
This makes all the monsters stand still. Their animations will continue, but they will not move. This is activated by ticking both ZF boxes.

Status: Working

DupeX
DupeX is a vacuum hack. A vacuum hack is one that sucks all the monsters to your location, making training much faster and efficient. There are two types of DupeX, Slow DupeX and YoYo DupeX. Instructions on how to use them are posted above. Slow DupeX is slower than YoYo DupeX- hence the name.

I'm not sure which DupeX's are A/B or patched- please let me know.

Please tell me if I’ve missed any public hacks, and feel free to submit your own definition.

NOTE: These hacks can be found in their respective CT tables in the many hack-pack’s that are available (eg. by wcbrilman, jerseydude etc.)- you have to do a little searching.

+ Applications- what do they do?

dhttpd
GG hashes; saves the latest revision and stores it on your computer. If it isn’t hashed, then this application can replace the current revision of GG (that has patched our hacks) with an older version of GG that was hacked before. This is used as a public bypass when GG hasn’t hashed after changing to a new revision. However, when GG hashes, it is technically no longer a bypass.

Status: Working

MZBot
MZBot is a program that will AutoClick for you (for PQ), Auto Attack (for when you’re botting), Auto Chat (for FM), Auto Pot (which means that when your health/mana goes below a certain point- it’ll use a potion to put your health/mana above that point. It has many functions and is probably my favourite bot to use. It’s been around for a long time- make sure to set your potions to the right key- or you’ll die.

Status: Working

DxWnd
DxWnd is a program that will put MapleStory into a window. This isn’t necessary- it just makes it so much easier to hack and change values when you don’t have to press Alt+Tab all the time- plus, you can keep an eye on your character at all times. This isn’t detected, so it’s all good. (I don't know if this rumor is true or not but appreantly there is 2 version of Dxwnd and the V.1 suppose to be patch so get the V.2)

Are you running a dual-core computer? If you are:

This simple guide will allow you to disable your Dual-Core processor on a per application basis. So, instead of modifying your driver to run your entire system on a single core, you can choose specified applications to run on one core while maintaining two active cores.

- First, you will need a tool called imagecfg which is on the web (It mean go look it up yourself).

- Next, extract the file into CWindows\system32. This will allow imagecfg to be a system command.

- To use this tool, go to Start -> Run and type... imagecfg -a 0x1 "CNexon\MapleStory\MapleStory.exe"

The 1 in "0x1" indicates the core you want to use. You may enter "0x2" to use the other core.

(depending on the location of MapleStory, the command may differ from the above example)



***Congratualtions! You have successfully executed MapleStory on one core!***



Alternatively, if the above didn't work, try typing imagecfg -u "CNexon\MapleStory\MapleStory.exe"


NOTE: This tool only works on NT based operating systems (eg. Windows NT, 2000 Family, XP Family, 2003 Family, Vista)

It has come to my attention that these guides are harmful. Only try these if you're really hellbent on hacking. Read more into the program for a little detail about the matter.

Are you running Vista? If you are:
There is no current engine that is compatible with Vista. You can try and write one- UCE’s will be addressed later. ddr4lyfe has suggested that Vista users can run ML and iCheat in compatibility mode, however I think that although it’s laggy- you might want to run MS through XP, using ‘Microsoft Virtual PC 2007’.

That’s just my suggestion, though.

If you’re using iCheat 2.0, it is said to un-attach itself from Maple, so try and use ML. If you’re using ML and it gives you this message- use iCheat instead.

ZOMG! HAXING ATTEMPT DETECTED!

If this is happening, especially when you’re not even using hacks, edit your hosts file and restart.

You have two choices:

- Use the hosts file fixer (but since many people have complained that it doesn’t work…)
- Manually edit it yourself.

Here’s how to manually edit it:

- Navigate to CWINDOWS\System32\Drivers\etc
- Un-tick the read-only attribute of the hosts file by right-clicking it and navigating to properties.
- Open it in notepad and delete all the references to GameGuard

(ie. mine says 127.0.0.1 gameguard.mapleglobal.com)

- Save the file
- Re-tick the read-only attribute.

Some people don’t get it, so a video on how to fix the host probally on YouTube somewhere look it up.


dhttpd DIES!
If ‘dhttpd’ is crashing one second after you’ve started it, edit your hosts file (above), restart your computer and try again.

If all else fails, download Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2.

+ How to use hack v.48 using ML [TUTORIAL]

First off, download a hack-pack that contains the latest version of ML. I recommend wcbrilman’s hack-pack . Un-extract it to a folder and navigate to the folder where ML is kept. Find the file that is called:

Moonlight Engine 1105.reg.

Run this, and agree to each of the prompts. This will program your settings correctly so you don’t have to do it yourself.

Open DxWND, dhttpd and your bot if you wish. Then, open ML. Load your .CT first- I have added Tubi and un-randomiser to wcbrilman’s CT- and that’s what I’m using. I recommend using wcbrilman’s CT.

Then, using DxWND, load MapleStory. You may have to set the right directory path-

CProgram Files\Wizet\MapleStory\MapleStory.exe

dhttpd will then proceed to feed the old files to GG. Then, when it has finished patching and has ‘Connected’, ‘Authorised’ etc. and GG is no longer there (for a split second), attach ML.

To attach ML, click on the flashing computer icon in the top left corner and scroll down the list- I recommend when GG is accepting the files, you get to the prompt and select MapleStory when it’s loading. Then, when it has finished and has disappeared, THEN click OK with MapleStory highlighted. You’re attached.

Log-in to your game, and if you wish to create your character with perfect stats, type in the name of your character, and activate the un-randomiser hack- it’s in the guide somewhere. X_X

Similarly, when you enter the world of Maple, THEN activate hacks such as Lag Hack etc.

When you’re exiting, kill ML first, then your bot, then dhttpd, and then quit MapleStory- otherwise your computer will restart and that’s just a hassle.

Hacker Etiquette

Yes, there is such a thing.

+ If you see another hacker, don’t report him. x_x
+ Don’t defame another hacker unless he’s being a dork.
+ Legit’s don’t like you. Don’t talk to them, it will log your name in the chat.
+ Legit’s don’t want to be your friend. The occasional legit will want to party with you. Don’t.

Don’t be a noob. There is a difference between being a newbie and a noob.

Actually read the rules. They help

I wish you all the best in hacking- and remember, people post tutorials for a reason; not to be neglected, ignored and pushed further down the page- I have spent 2 hours and 38 minutes on this tutorial and do not wish for this tutorial to be killed, because I worked hard on it for you guys. Please don’t post pointless threads, because they will be received with flame-age. I hope that there aren’t any more stupid threads, and no stupid question threads that spawn from the origination of this thread (that means don’t post question threads about this guide, cause that’s contradicting what this tutorial has been about).
