DXWnd [Window Mode] with Vista Guide

This might not be needed anymore because in v0.56, there will be a Window mode option in the MapleStory client.

This is a modified DXWnd from Doomsday and me (Xterminator).

For people that do not know what DXWnd is, it is a program that makes an application run in window mode.

Instructions are quite easy. All you do is install the application and launch the DXWnd shortcut on your Desktop. Note that I already added the directories that Global MapleStory might be in for you and adjusted the settings for each one. The DXWnd launchers launches Global MapleStory with DXWnd launched minimized.
*The launchers will not probably work since everyone likes making a new folder for MS. If you tell me your directory to where it is, I can make the launchers work.

If it does NOT run in full screen and you want me to help you with it, PM me with your MapleStory directory
(MapleStory folder), and I will PM you back with the DXWnd with your directory. You can find your MapleStory
directory by RIGHT clicking the MapleStory shortcut, clicking properties and looking at the "Target" or "Start In".
You can always do this yourself if you wanted to.

The directories that DXWnd and its launcher supports for MapleStory are the following:

D:\Program Files\Wizet\MapleStory\MapleStory.exe

D:\Nexon\MapleStory\MapleStory.exe
E:\Program Files\Wizet\MapleStory\MapleStory.exe
E:\Program Files\NEXON\MapleStory\MapleStory.exe
E:\Nexon\MapleStory\MapleStory.exe

Vista Guide:

This is my short pictured tutorial on how to make DXWnd work on Windows Vista platforms.
I can NOT guarantee that this will work on all Windows Vista computers.

This tutorial was tested on a Windows Vista Ultimate 32-Bit Edition OS.

First, you configure the compatibility settings for both DXWnd and MapleStory. The following 2 pictures will show you how it looks like:

Next, configure or check the settings of DXWnd.

Once you checked and/or fixed the settings, click OK, and you can launch MapleStory.

Here are the two pictures that show this method works.
