If anyone says otherwise, report them immediately because they are probably trying to scam you.
To decide which middleman to use, search around and look at their past posts and reputation. Just because they have a large amount of iTrader feedback does not mean they can be trusted fully.
PAY ATTENTION TO THE TRADER'S E-MAIL!:
There will ALWAYS be imposters, no matter what, so it's your job to pay attention.
When you are trading, you MUST, absolutely MUST pay attention to their e-mail. For example, instead of HIHI, they could be HLHL. This is common sense, but it surprises me how many people fail to see this.
Always Ask for a PM!:
When trading with someone, you must ALWAYS obtain a PM from the opposite party to make sure that they are who they say they are. Make sure you keep this, so if they scam, you have proof that it is really the person in question.

I can't stress this enough, but if you use MSN, they already have a tool, so why not just use it? If something goes wrong, you will ALWAYS have proof. Even if you don't have MSN, you could easily press the print scrn button and open paint to save the pictures.
To activate MSN auto log:
Tools> Options> Messages> and tick the "automatically keep a history of my conversations" button.
iTrader:
After every trade you have completed, no matter successful or failed, you MUST give a feedback. This tool helps sort out (somewhat) the scammers and the somewhat trustworthy people.
Reporting a Scammer!
If you have been scammed from a trade (buying, selling, or trading) with another individual. Please use the following format:
