I Havent completed halo 3 as yet..but i heard numerous people who finished the game said the ending was weird..like there would have to be a halo 4 to complete the story..what do you guys think?
Heres the skinny on that from what I know and have heard.
Complete the last level on any difficulty, and wait until after ALL of the credits, and it will play a video for you.
Complete the last level on Legendary and it will play that video AND a bonus video.
You could say that these do demonstrate that something will continue, but the "Halo" series I believe is finished. As for the storyline that Halo contains including the master chief, I think that they may create a new game over the same stuff Halo and its books are based upon, only you play as a different view such as maybe a different spartan.
I completely oppose the idea of having a "Halo 4", of sorts. However, it is not difficult to say that there can (and most likely will) be a prelude to the series. I don't know, Halo sort of feels like it's going to end up like Crash Bandicoot - Fun at first, and then ruined by 3rd party developers.
ok well im pretty sure its 100% confirmed that Halo Wars is coming out(nothing to do with master cheif,he isint in the game,just a bunch of cheifs that are just like him)Its... how would i say this...its sorta like Warcraft from what i have heard.
And nope not by bungie.they are no longer the owners of the Halo Franchise im pretty sure.
the alternate ending blows, if you watched it, cause it looks like it should have a followup game, but bungie already left microsoft, so there isint going to be one
