Battlestations: Midway demo released

The demo for [Only registered and activated users can see links. ], a tactical naval game that recreates the naval battles of WWII, has been released today. The game is developed and published by [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and is created by the team who brought you [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. Battlestations: Midway received a 'Great' review score of [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. IGN praises the game for its "...great gameplay experience that both action and strategy fans should enjoy." but goes on to state that "...the learning curve is relatively high..." meaning that this game isn't for everybody.

The demo weighs in at a modest 571MB, and can be grabbed [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].

Tech info:
Machine on which the screenshots were taken was running on a Core 2 Duo E6600 overclocked to 3 GHz, 2GB of DDR2-667 RAM, and 7900GT KO clocked at 700MHz core, 1600 MHz memory.
The game was running at 1680x1050 with the settings on max (4x transparency supersampling antialiasing, 16x anistropic filtering). Framerates never dipped below 30, and ran at 60 FPS most of the time.

Great! I like to play war game. Definitely going to give this game a try. Look promising.

yea it looks pretty awsome, not like the regular WW2 game but rather something new. refreshing to see some diversity in the WW2 genre ;)
