Aaron Sez, "Stop the Spamming!"

For the past couple of months, there have been people spamming so they can get the one post so they can keep their account. When you register an account on our forums, you agree to the TOS and the rules that we enforce. Clearly many newcomers did not get the memo.

Moderators now reserve the right to ban spammers depending on the content of the message. Specifically, if you post spam that's completely unrelated to the topic like, "This is my first post," or "I'm just posting to keep my account, bye," or the typical spam gibberish, your account will be banned permanently. If the spam has something pertaining to the actual thread, you will be warned with 15 infraction points. If you make a thread outside of the "Say Hello" section that is contains spam, your account will be banned for 30 days.

Basically, this thread is for the lurkers. However, I don't think lurkers will look at the News section. They will proceed on to looking for hacks. Even though the news can be seen at the home page of GzP, but you would need to scroll down while the forum link is at the top. So I don't think they would be able to see...

I defiantly have noticed the spam increase in the FlyFF Section. Alot of begging, and regular spam going on.
