At GamerzPlanet, we urge members to post so their account doesn't get pruned. People have been posting but the majority of registered users think that creating a first post means you can write something meaningless, regardless of what section it could possibly belong to. Most of the posts made are too absurd to even keep on the boards so I personally prune those posts.

Moderators and administrators have the right to warn (and even ban) members who are spamming for that one post.

I know I've banned quite a few people who've spammed for that one post because they knowingly break the rules so they can keep their account. It turns out to become the ultimate oxymoron.

Please post normally. In case people don't know what "normally" means, here's how you do it:

Post in complete sentences and spell adequately enough so that other people can understand what you're saying (NOT like "wutz up!1 lol").
Please post according to the actual topic being discussed. Don't deviate from it.
Do not post so many smilies. One or two is enough.

I understand exactly what hes talkin about. Its like if i just came in here, made 1 VERY useless post JUST so i could keep this account and get free hacks from it. If they dont want to help out the forums in any way or dont want to put in their opinion into things, then why should they get hacks or a place to chill, trade things, and do other stuff? I agree with this, i say if they dont post more than 5 times in 1 month UNLESS they are having computer troubles or on vacation or somethin, their account should be closed.

It became bad because lots of spammers are appearing on the forums now that make spam-like posts.

Well, for those who can't learn to abide by the rules, we'll gladly ban you. It's not even worth keeping members who aren't contributing or participating in the forum's activities.

What's the use of keeping them here when they are just using us just to get hacks? If it's for the sake for learning, then by all means go ahead. Otherwise, don't even bother registering in the first place.

Aaron isn't saying post in proper grammar or he will ban you, while proper grammar is important, he is meerly saying keep the posts on topic, specificly your first couple of posts, meaningless spam = ban.

Anyways since this thread was created ... shouldn't we be upping the + warning on New Member Spamming or just leave it there and use the instant ban when we have to?
