Yeah, I've read a few books stating this. However, the amount of energy required to sustain it would be ridiculous, and there would be no real way to contain it. Plasma isn't magnetic and you can't exactly inject particles into plasma.

I'de like to see the effects of a highly magnatised bullet on a plasma saber such as this. Proferably in slow motion.

I remember a site way back when that i found in my populare science that sold instuctions to make rediculous things like blaster rifles, hovercrafts, fireball launchers, etc.

wow, is this thing only theoratical or is it also made? and if it's made, does anyone knowes a link to a video from that thing in action, hehe this is so cool only pointless in battles. but if they take ut the magnet flaw that thing could be usefull. this technology could be used in construction sites and factory's for cutting things.
