This makes sense, the trailer for the game seemed liked a basis for a good movie.

Actually, it's quite the contrary. This makes little sense mainly because the game barely has a story.

Hmm, the game isn't really good for a movie...it's just hardcore fps. Not a good story like Halo or something.

Hmm I never played the game just watched the commercial lol. When I first saw it, I thought it was a ad for a movie.

2. If 300 has proven anything, it's that story is irrelevant to make a good movie when the action is so fast paced and tight without being overly arbitrary. Well it's not like i'm expecting much from a game gone movie deal.. heh :P

It's possible as Epic Games is not owned by Microsoft and they hold the intellectual property to the game, but very, very unlikely as Microsoft is the publisher to the game and they probably have deals that help them fund and advertise the game.
