Patch v1.2 for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, an action role-playing game by Bethesda Softworks, has been released for the PC and Xbox 360. (The Playstation 3 version ships with this patch.) The patch fixes various bugs and glitches, optimizes the game a bit (load times are faster), and improves the visual quality of distant LOD landscapes.

Ummm... I'm going to say HOLY SHIT!!! that patch just freaken owned the unpatched one... lmao ^^ sweeet

hmm loading times are better now, slightly, and gfx changes are not that big, or i just cant notice the difference O.o

That game looks crazy! Is it free download or do you have to pay? If so, how much?

It's a retail game. It costs $40 to $50 at places like Wal-Mart, GameStop, EB Games, Best Buy, and Fry's Electronics.

Ya the game is awesome, i loaned it to a friend and now i want it back :(.

Beware though, if you have never patched the game like i have you can use money glitches that involve selling and item on a horse and it doesn't disappear etc.. but this does n't work with patched versions.

You can get rid of the patch by getting rid of your cache on your 360. Unfortunately, it gets rid of all the patches you've recieved which may or may not be a bad thing...

Was that the PC version you made the comparison of...cos im sure as hell it wasnt the xbox 360 version!!!

Also does anyone know if they have patched the duplication glitch wih the new patch?!?!
