Spore pushed back to '08

Spore, a game by Will Wright, creator of The Sims and SimCity, based around the concept of evolution, has been delayed to 2008, to the dismay of many gamers. During "a post-earnings report conference call with analysts, newly reinstalled EA CEO John Riccitiello shattered many gamers' dreams by announcing that Spore is no longer on the publisher's 2008 fiscal year calendar, which ends on March 31, 2008." The reason behind the delay is due to Maxis and EA Games wanting to meet the demands and expectations of gamers, and it would seem that at its current point in development, they would not be able to do that.

Oh man, i was so looking forward to getting it. It looks so fun.. Sigh, another year or two to go i'm sure.

WTF.... first this game was gonna get releashed @ Q4 2006, now it gonna be atleast Q2 2008?

AAAA!!! FFS! I was really looking forward to this game, and now summer 2008?? That's bullcrap! What's making these huge delays? This game rules sooooo much, when will a demo be out?

Well, there was a demo out at E3 2006, but i doubt it will get released to public

Yea i've seen that demo, there is also a more recent video where Robin Williams makes a creature. I can't wait for a public demo though.

Everytime I read something about SPORE I get angered.

I don't even want to play the game now. This sickens me.

I have a better change waiting for Duke Nukem Forever
