Right now, I'm developing a website that is basically a streaming movie portal. What better way to get a decent layout, than a contest?
The features the home-page must include are:
thumbnails of all the recently added movies
movies being released this week
a larger 'feature' movie thumbnail reserved for the biggest movie out at the moment (i.e. Dark Knight)
a sort feature for Recently Added & Most Viewed.
The navigation only needs to include a link to "Community".
Upload your entry to any image hosting website (in jpg or png), and send me a PM with a link to it.
Prize: 100$* Deadline: July 29.
*Please be aware that the winner of this competition will have to work with me to re-design the PSD to my liking, and develop a couple of subsequent pages (of the same design). You will be required to give me a copy of any/all PSD files used.

Honestly, I'm not too stressed. I would rather something fresh & funky, but it just has to be unique - it really does need to be the image of the site. Feel free to PM me with your thoughts, and I'll get back to you ASAP.

Do we have to do any HTML because, I freaking suck at that. If all we have to do is make a .psd and give it to you then please tell me. Oh, and another thing the Navigation bar only has ONE button?

No HTML needs to be done. Just the PSD. Submit as a JPG or PNG initially, though.
It doesn't have to even be a navigation bar, per se. If you can incorporate a link to "community" somewhere in the website, that's fine. But yeah, for the time being, it's only going to be a portal and the forums.
There's no name, atm. Try to make a generic banner. If you need the name specifically for something (other than a header/logo), PM me and I'll think of something.

1. Do I have to put in thumbnails on the template?
2. I don't understand this feature. Can you explain? And also explain how I would go about doing it?
Another thing, do you want the tabs to Recently Added, Featured etc.. to load a new page or to open like div html stuff. Sorry If I confused you. I already made it open a new page if thats fine. And each page has to be customized so it shows what you want it to show. Could you add my MSN incase I have further questions. =] [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Why not just make it, than r2k can decide if he likes it or not.
