DS vs. DSi
mmm, so the DSi was released a few months ago...

here's the general stuff that changed:
12% thinner
17% larger screen
no GBA slot 1
camera on back
looks very rectangular

they also have a new system, so there will be new DSi games. of course, this generation of DS can play the older DS games. However, the cost for the thinness is the loss of the GBA slot. Games like Pokemon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum can't use the Pal Park capability of transfering pokemon from the older versions and Guitar Hero World Tour can't use the GBA slot for the guitar.

also, unlike Apple, Nintendo will not be taking in any older versions and only selling the DSi. They will be selling them SIDE BY SIDE.

what do you think? do you like DS more or the DSi?


and I'm thinking about getting one, so I need your opinions too :D

better yet get a PSP, well if youre not into transfering stuffs then get the dsi of its better compared with the older ds only just my opinion...

DSi is better than the DS. I do like my DSLight but the DSi has some nice new features. I don't plan on buying a DSi unless it's really nessisary for any decent new game.

Dsi is only for photo whores, and those that pose on the camera.
LOL Jks. I recommend a Dsi because photos LOl. Yea im pretty random,
but the camera bit is true, kinda..

i'd stick with the DSi, you never know what games u'll find with its new support function... and the palpark only affects ppl who play pokemon(by now they should have transfered all of it anyways)

No BGA slot is a huge negative, and selling DS and DSi side by side means DSi will be sold at a premium. Spec wise, DSi is superior though.
