my friend has one and he says it's good for like sports games and such but for liek shooting games he says it horrible. I personally suggest you buy a ps3 or a xbox 360 because they are great for any game and have great online. Also the ps3 comes with free blu ray player so that's a major plus.
It is not horrible for shooting games. The shooting games that it is horrible at is shooting games not originally made for the wii / any other nintendo system. The best shooting game I have for it is Resident Evil 4. The aiming is great, it has all the unlockables that the PS2 version had etc. Red Steel is also a great shooting game and the aiming is amazing in that, I had a nice 4 player multiplayer fight with my friends and I on red steel and it was awesome.
The wii is perfect for everyone, but if you have the extra $400, I'd say get a PS3. The PS3 is perfect for high def games, and has beautiful controls. It also has free online unlike the xbox360, but you have to pay for things you want to download.
Personally, I would choose the PS3 out of all three of these because I don't need to download anything, I just want to have fun on the games I bought on the store just like the good old days :P
Nah. I have one, terrible graphics, eats up your batteries, as getting a corded wii mote would defeat the purpose, and only a handful of games are good.
Id say it wasnt worth it as the only games i wanted for it were Zelda, Mario Kart and Galaxy, most of the other games i tried were more family orientated..
The wii is not worth it, i have one just collectin dust. Get an xbox 360 and xbox live and just play with ur friends on there. Some good games are cod 4/5 and halo 3
Yeah, my 360 is much better then my Wii, more games and better online. If you do buy a Wii though, make it worth your while and get the good games on it, but it really depends what type of game you play.
Wii = Family Fun
360 = Better Graphics, Better Games, Better Online :P
It's good for party games like Wii Sports, but for single player it gets boring fast. Also, you might run the risk of throwing your Wii remote at your TV or window.
