This thread is all about how to hack Wii games, both offline and online. This assumes you already have the Homebrew Channel installed, if you don't please refer to my other thread. All the downloads are at the bottom of this post.

Setting up the Hacks:
The first thing you will need is the Wii Cheat Manager. Download and unzip the program into the "apps" folder of your SD card. Now create two folders at the root directory of your SD card one named "txtcodes" and the other "codes" (No quotes). When you want to use cheats, download a cheat file and place it into the folder "txtcodes" and load up the cheat manager on your Wii. Select the cheat file you want to use and press the + button on the cheats you wish to activate. When you are done press 1 on the Wiimote to compile your cheats. *NOTE: You must compile this every time you wish to add or remove a cheat*
Using Cheats on GeckoOS:
If you are loading the game through a Wii disc you must use GeckoOS to load the cheats. Download and unzip GeckoOS to the "apps" folder of your SD card. Load up GeckoOS on your Wii and place the game disc inside. Make sure Ocarina is set to "ON" in the options menu. Now you can launch the game and if everything was done properly the game will be patched with cheats.
Using Cheats on USB Loader:
If you are loading the game off of an Hard Drive you need to use USB Loader. If you don't have it download it and unzip it to the "apps" folder on the SD card. Load up USB Loader and set Ocarina to "ON" in the options menu. Cheats should be patched to game on launch.

Too many cheats enabled will crash your Wii, bypass MUST be enabled before hacking or you will be BANNED from Nintendo servers. Write Char Offset must always be enabled. Not all hacks work online. You need to edit some values where instructed to do so. (Open the cheats text file, and fill in the values with a program like notepad)

Notes:
-Loading too many cheats at the same time may crash your Wii.
-All codes used here are for NTSC (North America) They will NOT work on PAL (Europe) games.
-Remember to always turn on all bypass before hacking (Once you turn on the bypass delete your game save and make new)
-You may get permanently banned from the Nintendo Wifi network if you hack online.
