Post how to use project64 (N64 emulator)

Hey gammers just here to show you how to download and use project 64.
The first step is to follow this link: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] its pretty simple just scroll down and you'll see it in a box just click on that to start the download.

step 2-once you've downloaded it click the setup and then just follow the setup dont worry its nothing too hard (unless if your blind) lol.

-Note before you do the next step please download winRAR
if you dont have winRAR follow the link: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] just search for it.

step 3- to get some games (ROMs) well theres a few sites but i find this site nice and easy: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and now just scroll down and find a game by its first letter (eg. D for duke nukem)<<thats a great game if your into those old Doom game engine :)
-you might find it a bit tricky to find the downloader on the site but its there just underneith the Ads.

step 4- Once you have downloaded the game you chose make sure it has been saved as zipped winRAR file, right click on your desktop and make a "new folder" and then click on the zipped winRAR file and at the top click "Extract to" and choose the "new folder" that you made.

step 5- Now open up Project 64 and click "open" on the top left corner and click "open rom" and search for the file that you extracted the game too, open the folder and click on anyone to start.

-sometimes it might come up as diffrent languages but dont worry you can just click on the file that has (E) (eg.Duke Nukem 64 (E) [!].z64)

-please note you MUST! have winRAR to do this.

-If you are having problems please let me know.

please note that those websites arnt my own so please dont give me crap about how i stole it, but i will soon have my own website.

Re: how to use project64 (N64 emulator)

Thank you for this information. I also recommend Romulation.net...they run on a points system but I've never run out before. They have tons of roms and modified roms hosted on their site. They even have PSX isos which is rare to find on a rom site because they are quite large.

As for PJ64 it is a great emulator. I use it to play Goldeneye whenever I'm feeling nostalgic.
