well, i said no becuase as i have heard vista may be secure but it is too secure etc, you are trying to talk - accept or deny (mac joke)
It may be alright for older people ie an emailing PC/laptop and instant messaging (and pr0n)
it is also very CPU intensive and doesnt support as many gaming features as XP (software not hardware btw)

I am planning to buy in a few years time now window vista still got alot of bug and alot of hack doesnt work so everyone try not to install

im still using xp, and ive read that it will lasts till 2014.
but one of my friends is using vista, and he said that after the Vista sp1, things are quite better.
ill wiat a bit more. im happy with my xp.

Well i have sp1 on my pc and my friend has on his laptop and mine runs wayy better...

Vista is great thanks to features like Superfetch, and it also maintains itself very well.
