also, from wut i understand some software/hardware may not b compatible w/ windows vista so tahts another reason im not getting it.

i use it, works well, havnt noticed gaming loss in hl2, hl2 ep 1. played both with vista and xp, didnt notice any performance change. if anything, it got better. havnt had a single thing not work

No way. I mean sure it looks flashy and it has some better features than XP but it still is not worth the bugs with all the games, programs, and everything else! I heard from some websites that vista ran "perfectly" with WoW. I tried playing WoW on Vista and I had to put the graphics on low for everything and it was still choppy as hell. I couldn't make out a word anyone said on WoW. It sounded like Static. Cheat engines don't work with Vista.. as hardly anything does. Basically this is how it went.. I got my new pc with Vista pre-installed. I installed WoW on my PC. Started up WoW. Closed WoW. Got out my old XP disk and you know the rest :P. Trust me Vista's costs outweigh its benefits. ;)

Yes I am, my Windows XP copy has a virus atm, and I don't feel like formatting. I like the look and everything, it doesn't bog my computer down at all, and it runs every game I own.

The only problems I've had so far are 1) NVidia drivers, 2) Sony Ericsson Drivers, and 3) Having to reinstall programs I already have on XP kinda bugs me.
