Problem MaNGOS going live without Hamachi problem

As the title says...
I got BanViktor's repack, and used several of the how to guides posted in mangos guides on Mmowned, along with several of the going live without hamachi guides, and as far as I can get when trying to connect from another computer on my network is "Authenticating." And even then, I only get that far by adding port 3306 on to the realmlist address.
I don't know if it's because the computer i'm trying to connect from is wireless or not, and I don't know what else to try. I've modified my drivers\etc\hosts file, as well as changed both conf files and the realmlist db in Navicat all to show my (I opted for DynDns) address, and when I try to connect to that I get "Unable to connect." So I switch to the host pc's internal IP with port 3306, to get the "Authenticating" forever.
Pls thanks in advance for any ideas.

*Edit*
I came up with another idea, and set realmlist in Navicat to 192.168.254.4 (Server pc's internal IP) and left everything else the dyndns addy, and i get in from another pc and can select the realm, but stuck in realm list select loop... Closer, but no cigar.
