Warrior Pet Taming

Before i ask my question, here is some info. Server runs wow 2.4.3 on mangos 0.12.0 revision 6466.

The question. I am top lvl GM and would like to , in the never ending cycle of useful development and useless horseplay, tame a pet on my warrior like hunters. But i think it is nearly impossible to do this, as i have added the tame and feed pet skills but my pets never take, they just keep attacking. Anyone have any suggestions?

Top level as in?

Lvl 3 and below are not able to to 'create' pets,
but above are able though.

Top level as in Administrator level. Only way to have higher access is to walk into the owner's house and fire up SQLyog. 0 is average user. 3 is as high as the security goes in mangos.

Its not technically top level. But permissions make it seem like top level. Account levels can go from 1-6 however advancing permissions end at 3. I think this is there in case you want someone to have some non set able permissions (Some that are hard coded into the core) but not let them have some that are able to be set in the db.

About the tame pet even if you do tame it don't expect to be able to train it up since if I remember correctly that has to do with a class or pet trainer which are only accessible by hunters and otherwise read something about being the wrong class. However I may be incorrect. But at the same time mangos core is meant to be as blizzlike as possible. ANOTHER HOWEVER you may be able to use the .learn command to teach them things lol.

.learn (spell # for tame creature, feed creature, summon pet, and all of the other acssociated pet spells.)

there's a list floating around the net for these. i've done it. technically you can learn all of the spells possible in game. some you might have to add manually. but ".learn allspells" or something similar. i don't have my cheat sheet in front of me.

If you create warrior specific "spells" that work similarly as the hunter "spells" you'll be fine. I've managed to tweak the db around a bit to give anyone any ability I wish (including cross faction mounts).
