Problem Help im so close (wan, router)

Hey guys/girls, i got some problem with my private server,

i have set all up with my wan ip and forwarded the ports,
and i have checked if they are open with [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

but my friends can not connect to the server, they just stay at "Connecting"

and i have added my wan ip in the realmlist in the sql database.

should i change 0.0.0.0 in this line?
BindIP = "0.0.0.0"


this is from mangosd.conf
LoginDatabaseInfo = "85.225.113.92;3306;root;******;realmd"
WorldDatabaseInfo = "85.225.113.92;3306;root;******;mangos"
CharacterDatabaseInfo = "85.225.113.92;3306;root;******;characters"


and this is from realmd.conf
LoginDatabaseInfo = "85.225.113.92;3306;root;******;realmd"


so please help me!

BindIP = "0.0.0.0"

u must change it to your Public IP adress, or a DDNS adress(thats batter cuz your friends dont need to rewrite their realmlist to be able to join)

you need a dns

liek no-ip

it will make that dns run on your computer so you can have others log in.

if you port forwarded already then your done.

one more question, in realmd/realmlist should it be like this?

1    Gejm Masta    85.225.113.92     8085    1    2    8    0    0  85.225.113.92;3306;root;******;mangos

or should it be like this?

1    Gejm Masta    gejmmasta.mine.nu     8085    1    2    8    0    0  gejmmasta.mine.nu;3306;root;******;mangos

i already got an dns from dyndns.org

BloodStorm = Server Name
bloodstorm.mydns.hu = My DDNS

now when i changed bind ip to my wan ip, in the server it says "couldnt bind ip to (my ipadress)"

so whats wrong?

u need to update your ddns on the website somwhere u registered it each time u log on with your internet connection(if u have dynamic IP adress)

else: no way, u have dynamic IP :D

try this [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

note: wan IP and DDNS is not the same...
