Mmmm, nice. I set mine up and RO2 lags my laptop quite abit. I think i'll play around with it more this weekend when i go back to my home and have access to a better PC.

you still using your laptop to play games..?!? lol.. been so long since we talked.. but daily life is very busy only get to use computer for an hour or so..

hmm ive been wondering does the ro2 private sever work like the same way as as RO?

Doesn't look the same to me. I only managed to get to the character creation screen when i gave up on it's lagginess. I'll probably test it out at home tomorrow on another computer. I wonder if a 0.8ghz increase will make any difference. >_<

Well alwaysfree, i'll be pretty busy from next week onwards now that school's starting but i'm bringing my laptop to the campus and continue my work anyway..

I dont get it... I start the login and world exe and all those do just brings up Cmd -.-? Do i need to download a client??? If so where??? swmnbn Gimme the dirrection how you install it T^T!!!!!!

Its a server i setup.. but people can't connect to world i think, but login works great according to someone..

anyways.. use that for instructions on how to install etc :P

Get the RO2 files, as in the files you need to use to PLAY RO2. It's in the ro2stuffs website under Beta2. Download that zip file and download the Beta3 files and replace Beta2 files with Beta3's.

After replacing, get the loader which is also at ro2stuffs under Tools. Next, get the sandbox emu and run those two .exe, world and login.exe.

Next, use the loader to start up your ragnarok client and make sure you are connecting to localhost(127.0.0.1, you can specify it on the .txt from the loader, remember to set disable packet encryption to Yes).

After all that, you can type anything into the login and password box and it will log you into the character creation screen.

I only got that far since the lag made me give up. And btw, yesterday was the first time i've downloaded RO2, took like 30 mins to download everything and 10 mins to figure out how to set them all up. >_>

EDIT:
Well, i tried it out on my desktop PC and it's pretty much the same as FlyFF, except you can't fly.. Kinda disappointed. I'll wait for a private server with proper english translation and more players.
